The Gray’s Inn Student Law Journal (GISLJ) is an annual collection of legal essays, articles, case-notes or book reviews on any legal subject written by student Members of the Inn.
The call for papers is published in News in November. Entries are reviewed and collated by the GISLJ editor elected to the Association of Gray’s Inn Students (AGIS) Committee.
The journal is published here and in print each year and reflects the wide variety of interests of student Members. The inclusive ethos behind the GIJ is to provide students with the opportunity to engage academically with the law, to develop further an area of interest, and to provide a platform to share students’ perspectives on topical legal issues. The winner of the Michael Beloff Essay Prize is the first article published in each journal and demonstrates the high academic achievement of all of the writers.
