Qualifying Sessions

Qualifying Session (QS):  1 QS

Theme: Preparation for pupillage, career development and wellbeing

Learning outcomes:

  1. Consider case studies from practitioners on establishing a practice as a junior practitioner
  2. Increase awareness of a barrister’s obligations relating to professional and lay client care
  3. Identify sources of advice and best practice for practice management
  4. Develop a greater awareness of the requirements and demands of self-employment

This QS relates to the following elements of the Professional Statement for Barristers:

1.1, 1.11, 1.16, 3.1, 3.2, 3.4, 4.1.1, 4.2

Preparation required: No

To be awarded the QS for this event you are required to join the event on time and stay for the full duration of the event. Please enter your full name when joining the event so that we can record attendance and update the QS records accordingly. This can take up to two weeks.
