Date and time: Friday 29 – Saturday 30 September
Friday: 5.30 – 8pm. Dress code: Smart casual.
Saturday: 10.30am – 4pm. Dress code: Dark suits.
Location: Benchers’ Entrance, Gray’s Inn
Who can attend: Open to student Members of the Inn commencing the Bar Course outside of London only.

How to book
Students commencing the Bar Course will be contacted directly by the Education department in August. Please contact the Education Department if you have not heard from us by the 1 September 2023.
Qualifying Sessions
Qualifying Session (QS): 1 QS
Theme: Preparation for Pupillage, Career Development and Wellbeing
Learning outcomes:
- Develop a broad understanding of the life of the Inn and what membership means for you.
- Apply the relevant policies in relation to student QS and how it impacts members.
- Use and explain the Inns’ services and how they can be accessed.
- Enhance understanding of how the skills and knowledge gained with the Inn will complement learning you on the Bar Course
This QS relates to the following elements of the Professional Statement for Barristers: 1.10, 1.11, 2.5, 3.5
