Training and Education at the Inn relies upon our Members who voluntarily commit their time and experience to support fellow Members.
Our Members volunteer as advocacy trainers, interview for scholarships, run mooting competitions and other events and participate in the various committees which decide policy and strategy for these activities.
Judges are encouraged to participate in our Marshalling Scheme. This offers Gray’s Inn Members an excellent opportunity to gain an insight into judicial decision making, court procedure and styles of advocacy.
Get involved
At present the Inn is looking to get more of our Members involved in these activities including to qualify as advocacy trainers and to serve on the various committees. To succeed we need a diverse pool of enthusiastic members who are willing to commit their time and experience to support fellow Members.
We are also looking for Vis Moot Coaches. If you are a barrister with practical experience of International Commercial Arbitration, find out more and get in touch.
If you would like to find out more about the Gray’s Inn Education Department and volunteer then you should contact the Education team telling us a bit about yourself and what you would like to become involved in.
